Facade Grants

The Downtown Development Authority developed a program to partner with downtown property owners in order to enhance and maintain the beauty and charm of the downtown area.

Matching funds are available for facade improvements for commercial properties in the Roscommon DDA district. Commercial tenants or property owners may receive reimbursement of 50% not to exceed $5,000 of the cost of an approved storefront renovation.

New Identification Sign for CRAF Center

Improvements at Roscommon CRAF Center continue as the building's exterior now has a new sign identifying it from the outside. The new sign was installed November 11th by Pro Image Design. The sign was funded through the 50% matching grant from the Roscommon Downtown Development Authority, a $2,000 grant from the Roscommon County Community Foundation's Morley Foundation Fund and through various donations from CRAF Center members and the community.

Northern Family Dentistry Receives $5,000 DDA Façade Grant

Karrie Williams (in white) of Northern Family Dentistry recently received a $5,000 façade grant from the Roscommon Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for their new staff meeting room. The new addition is 343 s.f. and is appreciated by their entire staff to better serve our community. Walsh Funeral Home in Roscommon recently received a $2,657 façade grant from the Roscommon Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for the installation of new entrance doors and windows.
